Police bust hash lab…on March 29, 2017 at 3:18 pm
Police arrested a 27-year-old male lakeside resident in connection with the discovery of a “wax” or “dab” operation.
Wax and dab are highly concentrated forms of marijuana.
A press release sent out by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office stated that detectives went to a storage unit March 22 on Rainbow Lake Drive and White Mountain Boulevard in Lakeside, where they found a butane-honey oil extraction device referred to as a BHO (butane hash oil) lab with an estimated value of $20,000.
NCSO Chief Deputy Jim Molesa said because of the danger of explosion always associated with such labs, the Timber Mesa Fire Department was called in to assist the NCSO Major Crimes Apprehension Team Task Force in opening the storage unit where the BHO lab was located.
